CeTeau was contracted by the consortium CARGI-PROPEN S.A. de C.V. for the supply and installation of more than 32 million linear meters, Runway 3 of Mexico´s New International Airport. The wick drain solution was chosen with the purpose of accelerating the rate of consolidation of the very soft soils present at the site. More than 10 Rigs were mobilized within a short notice and deployed for 8 months. The rigs installed different depths ranging from 15 meters up to 28 meters. Record quantities were delivered of 1 to 2 million linear meters per week.
